The War Experience Project Spoken Word Event

Seattle Central’s M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery is pleased to host a reading by Veterans for Peace. Veterans, family members, and advocates will reflect on their experiences through spoken word and poetry.

Also there are just a few days left of the exhibit, The War Experience Project. It runs through October 22. Listen, be informed and be a part of the conversation. Friday, October 23, 2009, 7-9 p.m., next to the Atrium.

"That's why the 27 year old veteran started painting. His canvass is his uniform. The back of it. And with his War Experience Project he's invited others, veterans and civilians, to come into the M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery at Seattle Central Community College, and pick up a brush and paint on the backs of uniforms."
