Seattle Central’s Achieving the Dream coach, Bernadine Chuck Fong, has been named a Senior Partner with The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching’s new community college initiative.
She will lead their Developmental Math Initiative, which aims to address “one of our nation’s most significant educational improvement problems: the extraordinarily high failure rates among students in developmental mathematics in community colleges.”
Bernadine has been a great help to Seattle Central, and we expect she will be a great leader for this important new initiative.
